2021 part 2

Well here we are at the start of the 2nd half of 2021.  It's certainly looking better than the first half.  Although things aren't quite 'back to normal' we are going to be enjoying the re-opening.  At this time, Waterloo Region has not moved to Step 2, although Guelph has.  Because I'm involved in both areas, I can't make definite plans yet.
So I'm still pondering and thinking......what will I do?

CLASSES:
I have a list of people waiting to start the next beginner class!  How exciting.
I'm looking forward to starting classes again.....but the question remains......WHEN?

WORKSHOPS:
I do enjoy teaching workshops! They're fast paced and fun...everyone has a good time!  I'm pondering doing 1 or 2 outdoor classes...small distanced  groups...during the summer.  Good idea?

POP UPS/SHOWS:
I had Porch Sale in June...and it was great!  So nice to be out seeing people again and giving a chance to view my art.  I am planning a couple more during the summer....still socially distanced and safe.

GETTING READY FOR CHRISTMAS:
Hard to believe, but Christmas in July is necessary to be ready with new Christmas cards and paintings in Nov/Dec.  Sigh......

COMMISSIONS:
2021 has been a good year for commissions.  I usually have several orders on the go...which is wonderful.  I do enjoy painting them!  But it can be difficult to get time to paint other pieces!  What a great problem :)

DISPLAY RE-DO:
If you have ever seen my full display at shows, you'll know that it's quite extensive....and heavy to haul around.  I'm working away in my head trying to figure out how to simplify the set up, but still show my work for easy viewing.  It's tricky.....we'll see how we progress with this one!
